Dry Ice Blasting and Its Applications
Dry Ice Blasting refers to the cleaning of different surfaces and equipment using Dry Ice particles. In this process, dry ice particles are projected at a high air pressure (ranging from 6 to 10 bar) over the surface that is to be cleaned. These dry ice particles are obtained from the dry ice blasting machine by crushing 3mm dry ice pellets into smaller particles. The surfaces that can be used to clean with this process are as follows:
- Aluminum
- Concrete
- Painted Surfaces
- Plastic
- Powder Coated Surfaces
- Stainless Steel
- Tyres
- Wood
- Boilers
- Conveyors and Chains
- Ducts
- Food Processing Plant
- Grilles
- Heat Exchanges
- Ovens
- Printers
- Switchboards
- Transformers
- Turbine Rotors
